The monitoring database files are located on this location C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Monitoring Database

They are ordered by date and the oldest is 9 month old, is it safe to delete these folders, what are the drawbacks of deleting them?

Many thanks

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. The drawbacks of deleting these subfolders would be, that the data will be missing then in Reports.
If you do not need Reports from 9 months back, instead of deleting the files manually, we recommend to adjust the Purging Limits, so that PRTG will delete the files automatically.

best regards.
