SQL v2 sensor - Difference do not work

Votes:

0

Hello,

We are using the last PRTG version (14.4.12.3283), and the SQL v2 sensor seem to not work as expected. We defined a custom query to get 2 int values, and used the sensor channel mode to "difference". Unfortunatly it always return the current number received without any difference with the last values. We tried to define the channel mode to "absolute" too and it's the same. Is it a bug or something we missed in the configuration ?

Thanks for your help

Dear Damor

Please contact [email protected]. Please include some screenshots of one of the SQL sensors:

  • the sensor overview tab
  • the sensor logs tab
  • the sensor settings tab (multiple screenshots if necessary to cover all option.)
  • the channel settings tab

Dear venturi

I just spoke with the development. The sensor has a bug and we will fix it with a future update within a few weeks.

The next stable releases will not yet have the fix, because we need to test the bugfix to ensure no new bugs are introduced.
