About sensors & probes

I have searched long & hard for a free utility that can monitor my home network's internet downloads. Long story short, PRTG Network Monitor (free) seems to fit my needs. Before I start installing it (7 wired desktops & 1 wireless laptop connected to a modem/router that do not support SNMP), may I ask if the freeware limitation of 10 sensors/4 probes are enough for my needs? I only want to monitor internet downloads. Thanks.

Hello,

the Freeware Edition of PRTG should be fine in your case with one sensor per port (and thus per PC) on your modem/router.

BTW: You can extend your freeware version to 20 sensors by adding a PRTG banner to your website.

Best Regards.
