Monitor web apps

How can I setup monitoring for all my web apps? We have approximately 20 web apps and I want to be able to monitor all of them.

When I try to add the HTTP sensor, I am required to choose a device but what I am trying to do is check web page status independent of the devise itself - like Pingdom - I list the url and they get checked.

apache http-sensor httpsensor iis

Add a 'dummy' device. PRTG doesn't check IPs when you create a new device. So create a device called WebApps. Give the device an IP of NA or anything you want really.

Then you can hang your HTTP sensors off that device to have them point to your web apps.

Thanks!
