Dear Technical Team, is there any way i could see the events like speed change of a port-channel , change description , admin shut/no shut of an interface , sensor goes down/up in logs tab? i only could have some specific events and not all my network events that i need. it would be great for such an amazing monitoring tool to have such important feature as well. thanks in advance.

Hello there,

Down/Up events as such can be seen in a sensor's and device's "Log" tab. As for changing of the mentioned values, this would work with an SNMP Custom String sensor as this one has the ability to inform you about when its value changes.

So for "ifDescr" for example you can put a string sensor on OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.index, same goes for the other values as well, please find here an overview.

What might also work in case the device supports it, would be using a trap receiver to look out for those events.

Kind regards,

Erhard
