wmi service sensor failed to created

Hello i am trying to set up sensor for some services i notice that generally i cant create sensor with name service wmi in our environment i get either time out errors or 80010108: The object invoked has disconnected from its clients to the server that i want to be created , what can cause this i am new to prtg so if anyone face similar issue that will be great :)

Hi cgav,

Thank you very much for your contact.

The issue is most likely connected to issues with the WMI connection from the PRTG Probe to the target device. You can either check whether a restart of the target device change the situation or, to check if the WMI connection work anyways, deploy a Windows System Uptime sensor to it.

Do you receive any values on this sensor?
