Remote Probe

I'm trying to make this remote probe work but it doesn't work for me.

I have this message every time even though I have setup the Probe Connection IPs to All IPs available on this computer and allow any ip.

"We detected that your core server configuration does not allow remote probe connections. Please change the configuration for Probe Connection IPs to all IPs available or specify IPs before you continue.

How do I fix this?

Hello Koudal,

Thank you very much for your contact.

Does your setting apply to the "Setup | System Administration | Core & Probes" section within PRTG's web interface? Make sure that the "Probe Connection IPs" is set to "All IPs available on this computer" and the "Allow IPs" option to "any" for the most possible trouble-free approach.

Did you also restart the PRTG Core Server service after the changes?

If everything does not help, we'll need you to contact us directly via PRTG's contact option. This is necessary as we need to review your system's log files and current configuration which is much easier provided via email than the KB.

Best regards,
Sebastian
