I am trying to set up snmpv3 on a Cisco switch to send to PRTG, but need the Engine ID for PRTG to enter as remote Engine ID on switch.

How do I find this?

cisco engine-id snmpv3

Hi there,

we haven't implemented the concept of Engine ID to PRTG.

This being said, please double check the configured credentials for SNMPv3 and the firewall rules for the target devices. From PRTG's perspective it is necessary to configure the SNMP settings under the ''Settings" tab of the parent device.

Best,
Sebastian
