[DENIED] New default DOWNTIMESINCE column for "Sensor Down view"

Votes:

0

Dear PRTG Support,

User Story

We are receiving many alerts on daily basis and these can be handled. The issues comes into the picture if we are receiving 100-300 alarms and quick action required. Currently the "Sensor Down page" is ordered by the priority in desc. We would like to ask you to implement the "DOWNTIMESINCE" to the columns by default and we can customize the ordering.

Details of User Story

This would be helpful to identify the root case of an alarms storm and just look the first alert which comes when the issue started. It also quite useful if the "Sensor Down view" is not well maintained and sensors weren't paused before the occurrence of an outage.

Acceptance criteria

  • Criterion #1 "DOWNTIMESINCE" needs to be added to the "Sensor Down page"

Thanks in advance.

When opening Alarms | Errors Only show downtimesince by default. When opening Sensors | By Status | Down, you can also add downtimesince in the column list of the URL:

/sensors.htm?filter_status=5&columns=Sensor,probegroupdevice,status,lastvalue,message,downtimesince

...open it and make it the home page by right-clicking any whitespace on the page for the context menu and clicking "Make this my Homepage".
