IP address is configured for Core Probe connections but seems to be unavailable

Error:

{{{Caution! Your monitoring is interrupted because the core server cannot accept incoming probe connections

The following IP address is configured for Core Probe connections, but seems to be unavailable: x.x.x.x (available: y.y.y.y). Probes configured to connect to this address are not able to do this! }}}

x.x.x.x = old IP
y.y.y.y = new IP

PRTG Server was moved to a new IP. Keeps alerting saying the old IP is still configured for core probe connections. Old IP not listed in the configuration.

Setup > System Administration > Core & Probes = Specify IPs with only new IP and loopback defined Setup > PRTG Status > System Settings only lists the new IP and loopback

Any idea why PRTG continues to generate this alert?

Hello,

Please check the following: Open the PRTG Administration Tool on the Core Server tab and make sure that the settings for Probe Connection Management are correct. If so, please restart the Core Server once.

If the IP changed, please also connect to each remote probe system, open the PRTG Administration Tool and enter the new IP address of the target server.

Kind Regards,
