Hello.

I have a PRTG Group with auto-discovery turned off. On that group there are web servers with only PING, CPU, DISK & RAM sensors. On their access logs I see that PRTG still send http requests: "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 35684 109 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; PRTG Network Monitor (www.paessler.com); Windows)". Can you please let me know how to disable this functionality?

Thank you

Hi,

It's possible that the recommended Sensors features causing these requests. Please check if this feature is enabled and disable it if so.

I already have the "Recommended Sensors Detection" to "off" and the server restarted but the requests continue to get out. The device reports this: Last Auto-Discovery: (never) Last Recommendation: 5 days 4 hours ago

If you stop the corresponding Probe service, will be the requests stopped?

It was the probe from a cross installation that was checking the https port through a reverse proxy. Thank you very much for your help.
