How to Change System Uptime Value in PRTG for Windows Servers?

Votes:

0

Hi Guys,

I am new to PRTG and any help would greatly appreciated.

Can someone explain/show me how to change the sensor values for system uptime for a Windows server in PRTG?

For example: Minimum and Maximum values for system uptime to alert "error out" when the server has not been rebooted for at least 180 days?

Thank you in advance.

Regards, N

Hello Neran,

Thanks for your KB post.

Under the primary channel of the Uptime sensor, you may set 'Enable alerting based on limits' under Limit. After that please set 15552000 seconds (180 days) for 'Upper Error Limit (s)'.

You should be notified once the uptime exceeds 180 days.
