Monitoring devices that are alternately active

Votes:

Hello all,

I need to monitor two devices or two sensors within one device, but only one of them needs to be active at any given time. Of course, I can do this using a business process sensor, but then one of the two sensors that I use as a basis is still "down". Since I automatically create tickets in OFORK from PRTG, this is of course not a desirable behavior, because it creates a ticket that is actually not one and thus creates additional work. In addition, of course, the sensor that goes to "down" after the switch must always be achknowledged. Any ideas how to solve this?

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards, Christoph
