Monitor remote customer networks

HI guys,

Is there a way to monitor remote networks?

Would be nice to get all the customers in the PRTG Desktop or maybe even in a "cloud PRTG Desktop"?

Hi there,

Thank you for your message.

You can absolutely monitor remote networks by using a remote probe:

https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/remote_probes_and_multiple_probes https://www.paessler.com/support/how-to/remote-probe-installation https://www.paessler.com/prtg/requirements#remote-probes

The latter will execute the monitoring requests on the devices within the customers' network and then send the data to the Core server on a single port (TCP 23560).

When you need to monitor the network of multiple clients and provide an access to them, only for their remote probe I invite to have a look at our How-To guide: https://www.paessler.com/support/how-to/msp-setup-access-rights.You will find there all the necessary steps to provide them an access to their monitoring.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate.

Regards.
