prtgadmin initial password change causes error

I recently installed PRTG 9 and changed the prtgadmin password as suggested. So default login button disappeared as expected. Counterpart is that from that moment on the systemtray icon is continiously blinking with remark popup "PRTG Network Monitor <IP> (prtgadmin) Not connected (Wrong username or pssword.) I guess something keeps the old (default) prtgadmin password but don't know where to go to correct this. Kind regards, Didier

There are different interfaces available to connect to the PRTG core server:

If you change the admin password in the PRTG core server's settings, please make sure you use the new credentials in all of your interfaces.

The tray icon, for example, is part of the Enterprise Console. Please open it and enter the new credentials in the PRTG Servers List.
