Hi Dont know if you can help but I have been using PRTG Traffic Grapher v6 to monitor bandwith use and speed on my home network for a few years now with an old Netgear DG834 which worked great after a few tweaks. I have recently moved to BT and am using their HH3 but cant get PRTG to work, I think this maybe something to do with SNMP but to be honest I dont understand how it all works. It's a bit of a long shot but if anybody can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks Jeff

Hello,

please check if the HH3 even supports SNMP and so responds to SNMP Requests with our SNMP Tester (just use the "Read Device Uptime"-test). Do you get any result? If not, it might be that the HH3 does not support SNMP or it has to be enabled, or the SNMP Settings are not correct.

best regards.

Hi Sorry for the late reply. Ran the SNMP Tester and got this result;

----------------------- New Test -----------------------
Paessler SNMP Tester 3.2
Device: 192.168.1.254

2/15/2012 2:22:32 PM (1 ms) : Start using SNMP V1
2/15/2012 2:22:42 PM (10005 ms) : -------
2/15/2012 2:22:42 PM (10007 ms) : Value: No response (check: firewalls, routing, snmp settings of device, IPs, SNMP version, community, passwords etc) (SNMP error # -2003)
2/15/2012 2:22:42 PM (10010 ms) : Done

I get the feeling the HH3 doesnt support SNMP but i'm not too sure, not found much information elsewhere and to be honest I dont understand much of it anyway! Thanks for the help

This really looks like as if there is no support for SNMP.
