Can I filter devices on a geo map by status and tag?

Votes:

Since the number of devices that can be displayed in a geo map is limited, I would like to be able to filter by status and/or tag. I could then create an alert map that would display only down devices to highlight a regional outage. Or by using tags, filter by network type and status or brand and rank.

Could I also filter by location? Say only California or the East Coast? Rather than manually creating regional groups to limit the number of sites.

Using groups is currently the way to structure your device/sensor tree in order to have less items on a map.
