Converting a PRTG server to a remote probe keeping devices intact.

Hello:

I d like to convert a prtg server (ver6) to a probe keeping all the old devices intact. i ll be upgrading this machine to ver 8 but I wanted to make sure all my old devices are migrated to the probe. Can you advise.

Hello,

do you have already a PRTG 8 running in your Network? You can only import the PRTG 6 config to the Network Monitor, by starting a new installation/setup. Please see How can I upgrade from previous PRTG versions to PRTG V8?
