Monitoring ESXi with WBEM

We got several ESXi Servers at our Customers and want to Monitor only the Healthstatus of for Instance the Array Controller. ESXi does not deliver full SNMP Agents so monitoring with SNMP is not an idea With the integrated WBEM Sensor of PRTG we can monitor some stuff, but not the things we want. Anyone got it to work to Monitor the Hardware Health Status with an WBEM Script for ESXi?

Hello,

one of our customers running an ESXi on an HP-Server reported to be able to get a lot more counters from the ESXi in PRTG with the WBEM Sensor after installing a software extension (HP CIM) (hp-esxi4.1uX-bundle-1.0a.zip<http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=de&cc=de&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&swItem=MTX-b1e26ec0bb424456bfa03a7f04&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=4091&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=3> ).

Maybe this helps.
