Remote Probe Outgoing IP Setup

Votes:

0

I have a server that I am installing a remote probe on. It has 2 NIC's, 1 with a private, non-routed address that the devices I want to monitor are on, and 1 with a public, routed address that will talk to the Core Server and everything else. When setting up the Remote Probe, it asks for: "Outgoing IP for monitoring requests". Is it talking about the requests from the sensor's of the devices I will be monitoring, or requests from the Core Server?

Thanks.

Outgoing IP for monitoring requests

is the one used for sending the requests to the devices that are to be monitored.
