Are there any implications to renaming a server that Paessler is running on?

We have a regular Windows server running PRTG Network Monitor 8.1.0.1628. We want to rename the servers network name. Apart from the obvious issues with the initial link to the server are there any issues with Paessler? i.e. is the original server name embedded in any Paessler config or setup info?

Regards, Andy Checkley

We do not use a server's network name in the PRTG configuration, so changing it should cause not problems.

Only changing the server's IP address involves changes to the configuration of any remote probes connected to the core server.
