Bulk update of sniffer channel definitions

Votes:

0

Following a change in our server architecture, the IP for one of our major applications has changed, and as a result the PRTG Sniffer channel definitions are now wrong.

Is there a way to perform a bulk update of all sniffer channel definitions, or better yet some way of having all sniffer sensors inherit their channel definitions from a root object (I am talking about the IP/port definition of the channel, not the channel unit definition).

We currently have a relatively limited number of sniffers (about 15) but this could reach 300 in the coming year, and I'm apprehensive about future application updates...

Thanks, Jeremy Gibbons

Hello,

the only option would be to use the Multi-Edit.

Best Regards.
