I am monitoring services on a windows host ; also doing ping test ... I don't want to receive email alerts when a node is physically down , it means that if PING sensor raised an alert ; other sensors don't send any alerts ,,, would that be possible ?

Hello,

this is of course possible, with Dependencies. Simply configure the Ping-Sensor to be the master object for the parent device (this can be done in the Settings of the Ping-Sensor): PRTG Manual - Dependencies.

Best Regards.
