Cisco offers a IP-SLA functionality on a few devices, and I would like to monitor this with PRTG. Can I do that? And if so, how?

IP SLAs are implemented on a hardware device which can run its own tests (usually a Cisco Switch). PRTG can then query the results of these performance tests. (note: PRTG does not sent packets itself).

In order to use the integrated IP SLA sensor, activate IP SLAs on a device as described in your device manual or in the Internet, for example:

Cisco SLA UDP Jitter VoIP Guide

Then choose an IP SLA sensor in PRTG. It will show you all available IP SLAs configured on this device.

If your device does not support IP-SLA, you can monitor it with PRTG anyway. Please see How PRTG's VoIP Features (QoS, and IP SLA Sensors) are Different or Unique for more details.
