Remote Probe Error Communicating with Core

Votes:

0

We have installed remote probe on a WS2008 R2 but it doesn't communicate with the Core Server.

The installation of the remote probe ended succesfully.

In the logs of the remote probe it appears an error: "Login NOT OK: Access denied by IP filter!"

The probe service seems to work ok, but in the core we can't see the remote probe.

How can we solve this?

Please check your filters for probe connections from within the Web GUI. From the message it would seem the respective filter is not allowed to connect to the core.

Please see Remote Probe Setup -> Settings in Web Interface

Thank you. That seems to be the problem. It reserved 2 ips in the exclude field causing problem to every new ip we insert for monitoring.
