Do you have documentation for Best Practices to configure groups, devices, sensors, etc.?

I'm new to PRTG and looking for any documentation on best practices to setup the system. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello,

this question is very hard to answer in general approach. Setting up PRTG does significantly depend on your network (architecture, devices and services) and also, on how you want to use PRTG.

Generally, we recommend creating devices with the Auto-Discovery functionality using a device template. If you switch on Auto-Discovery on a regular basis, changes to your device template will automatically take effect on all devices that are connected to this template.
