Custom OID not able to report down?

Votes:

0

I have a OID for a Barracuda 800 that tells me how many Emails are in the outboud queue. I would like it to Email me if the number goes over say 300. Right now I have it reporting the correct number of Emails in the queue but I can't seem to find a way for it to alert me.

The only thing I can set is change but it will constantly be changing. I need to make it alert by volume, am I able to do this?

alerts barracuda snmp

in the sensor, go to the channels tab, select the channel you want to make changes for, enable limits and make your settings. Now ad a state trigger to the notifications of the sensor.
