How can I access the Remote Probe installer more easily?

Votes:

With the change to denying access to PRTG by Internet Explorer it is now kind of a pain to download the remote probe installer on new servers. I have to place the installer file on a separate web server. It seems kind of silly to limit access to the download page in IE, I don't have reason to install Chrome or Firefox on my server. I also find it useful to access the "setup" page to copy/paste our probe access key.

You can also use the following direct link to download the installer without accessing the PRTG web interface at all:

http(s)://your.prtg/public/PRTG_Remote_Probe_Installer.exe?username=X&password=Y

BTW: We recommend to use a dedicated Probe Access Key for each probe. This enables you to disable an individual probe without actually going to that probe.
