What is the difference between the "WMI Disk Free" sensor and the "WMI Volume" sensor?

I have noticed there are WMI Disk Free and WMI Volume sensors. What exactly is the difference between the two, resp. what does each monitor?

The main difference between the 'WMI Disk Space' and the 'WMI Volume' sensor is that the latter always monitors only one volume (one disk). Whereas the Disk Space sensor monitors all disks of a target system in one sensor, separated into individual channels.

Furthermore, the WMI Volume sensor is not available in Windows Versions prior to Vista. We recommend to use it preferred to the Disk Space sensor.
