Are there any future plans to add a "notes" field to sensors or devices, for noted or addresses? If a device goes down, it would be helpful to mouse over a device, see the name, IP address, and a physical address for the location.

Hello,

the IP-Address/Hostname is already displayed, so is the physical address if you use the Geo-Maps. For the rest we recommend to use the 'Comments'-Tab.

Best Regards.

Comments Tab not very useful in a NOC environment. NOC users would rather be able to mouse over, see device name, IP address, and physical address in the alerts page or dshboard - rather than having to drill down into device for info.

If you hover the mouse over a device you can already see the devicename and DNS name (or IP address) in the popup window.

True, hostname and IP address are currently available. a comments field would be useful. Hopefully a future option.
