Is there a way to have SNMP traps turn a device red?

We have some SANS that send SNMP traps when drives go bad but have no snmp variable to poll regarding drive status. Ideally we would like to have the SAN devices light up red and send an email if a trap is received and stay that way until the alarm is acknowledged.

I'm afraid that isn't possible. Using the When Message comes in -> Write message to log and fire "change" trigger option you can trigger a notification and using the Set sensor to 'warning' -> Depending on Content option you can set the sensor into a warning state, depending on the content, but it is not possible to mark the sensor as down, particularly if it is receiving trap information. Sorry.
