WHen I try to add a windows/wmi service to prtg is says Please enter "Credential for Windows Systems" for the parent device or the parent group to use this sensor type. I cannot find where this is located. I am using Windows GUI V 8.1.2.1760

you have to enter the windows log on credentials in the root, probe or group settings if you want them to get inherited to child objects.
Or enter them per device in the device settings if you like
