My EXE Sensor doesn't fire a change trigger!

Votes:

0

In my EXE Sensors, when Change trigger is enabled and when content changes, I'm used to see a system string like "(result changed..)" near new result, and I expect the notification configured.. In my new EXE sensor, the "Result" and "Message" change simultaneously for example from: "0:attivo su sctipcsdmdba" to: "1:attivo su sctipcsdmdbb" ..but nothing happens!

What things I've to look for?

Thanx again! Gianluca

Hello,

which exact version of PRTG do you use? Do you have a Notification configure in the Change trigger of the Exe Sensor? Do other notifications generally work?

Best Regards.

  1. PRTG last release 8.2.1.1930
  2. yes, I've configured a mail notification on ChangeTrigger
  3. other sensors change notification works fine What exactly fires a change trigger? the value or the message? or both?

Thanks and best regards!

A value-change triggers the change trigger.
