Configuring RMON?

Votes:

0

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to configure sensors for RMON in PRTG?

I would like to have more visability of network traffic but our switches don't support netflow/sflow.

We have mainly Nortel Ethernet Switches (425) and Nortel Ethernet Routing Switches 1624 for our Core.

Thanks,

Alex

Dear Alex,

I'm sorry, but PRTG does not support RMON.

Best Regards.

Did you already try a RMON-MIB?

Convert it to a OID using Paesslers MIB Importer and use a SNMP sensor to query your device.

Thanks for your response.

Will give the MIB a go later this week.

Thanks,

Are there any future plans for RMON support, we use ZyXEL switches and RMON seems to be used across the range.

I'm sorry, but in the moment there are no plans for RMON-Support in the near future PRTG releases.
