Is it possible to configure PRTG DNS sensors to use TCP instead of UDP? We are looking to bypass some network/firewall restrictions on our setup.

I am sorry, the DNS sensor can currently only connect via UDP.

DNS via TCP is becoming more important now with DNSSec. The responses are too big for a single UDP packet. Because of this more and more DNS is starting to happen over TCP. Can this please get added to the wish list?

Thanks

Hello,

we will add it to the wish list, but I can not make any promises if and when this will be implemented.
