SMTP Notification Exchange 2010 with authentication

Until now we used smtp Notification with our internal Exchange 2010 Cluster and anonymous access without any Problems.

Because we have to send Email-Notification to an external Domain now we have to change from anonymous to SMTP Authentication.

We have already tried all possible configurations in SSL Method, Security and so on, but all we get in our PRTG Log is "authentication unsuccessful"

We already got some other Applications that work with SMTP Authentication just fine, the only one we cant get to work is PRTG.

We are using Version 8.3.0.2022 now. So are there any known Issues with SMTP Authentication and Exchange 2010 Cluster?

I have hit the same issue. Even traced it. It looks like when Exchange 2010 returns the heads PRTG just gives up and quits:

Basically after all the 250 responses PRTG gives up with an authentication unsuccessful. I have tried quiet a few combinations of settings and the pattern above is pretty consistent.
