Is there any way to re-order the list of Maps?

Most screens (devices, sensors) allow you to reorder the list by dragging & dropping. I don't see any way to do that in the Map list though. Am I missing it, or is PRTG missing it? ;)

Thanks, Tim

Dear Tim,

I'm afraid sorting/re-ordering is simply not possible in the maps, seeing as the maps are intended to serve as a presentational purpose. Managing your devices/sensors/etc. is supposed to be done in the 'normal' pages in PRTG.

best Regards.

It would be great to add this simple request - we use the maps quite a bit (for presentational purposes as well as functional). Possible to add a drag/drop/reorder to the list of maps?

Is there any plan to get these features?

Hi there,

Well the maps are sorted alphabetically; you could rename the maps with a certain scheme, e.g.

  • [customer acme] #1 - zNetworks
  • [customer acme] #2 - bNetworks

...to put them in the preferred order. Other than that, there are currently no plans of implementing a sorting feature, at least not for the current iteration of the map designer.

Kind regards,
