Why does PRTG's "WMI Process Sensor" show a CPU load of 230% for a process?

I am monitoring a multithreaded and CPU intensive process unsing the "WMI Process Sensor" and I get 200% CPU load and more. What does this mean?

On multicore systems this value can be per CPU. The maximum value then is 100% * core count. If you get a value of 200% on a 4 core system (maximum 400%) this equals a system usage of 50%.

In this case a single thread can never go above 100% (using one full CPU), but a multi-threaded application can go up to 400%.

Note that because of rounding and measurement timing, 1-5% variation above/below the maximum (e.g.102%) is possible.
