IP Selection Method during Discover Mode

Sorry, need clarification on what to use and enter if the Windows 2008 Server has only one IP address and runs IIS7 to host multiple web sites. Not sure if I use Class C network detection or something else. For sake of argument, say IP is 12.34.567.89. Doesn't seem like Class C is appropriate and entering only the first three octets.

From help: "This field is only visible if Class C network detection is selected above. Enter a class C network as IP base for the auto-discovery. Enter the first three octets of an IPv4 IP address, for example, 192.168.0".

Thanks Jim

Hello,

you can select the option (and then the range) which suits you best. In case the option to scan a class-c-net is not the best for you, maybe it's better to specify an IP Range, or a List of IPs.

Best Regards.
