Why does your IP address hit my website hundreds of times a day?

In my logs I have hundreds of requests from IP a.b.c.d and the user agent string mentions "www.paessler.com". What is going on here?

Obviously someone has installed our monitoring software PRTG Network Monitor on his computer and has set it up to monitor your website.

We do not have any influence on the users of our software and we can not do anything against this.

To find out who the owner of the IP address is and to contact them or their provider, please use a WhoIs service and enter the IP address from your logfiles.
