Sniffing of Juniper and Cisco Switches

We have ssg5 and Cisco Catalyst which do not support netFlow, is it possible to sniff them, My interest is to monitor IP and Protocols which could not be possible through SNMP.

Please suggest...

Hello,

packet sniffing might be possible if these switches have a monitoring port, that you could connect a Windows host running a PRTG Remote Probe to.
