local probe disconnected if import another .dat configuration

Hi, I moved my PRTG 7 from one server to another. i have the "PRTG Configuration.dat" file of prevoious installation. I have installed new PRTG 7 on another server and it work fine (with only local probe). if I put my "PRTG Configuration.dat" in the .dat folder it function for fews seconds and after the local probe is disconnected. how happen it ? to insert all configuration hand by hand is very hard. can I import my previous configuration ? thanks

can you try restarting the PRTG services?

Hi I have tried to restart both serveices. PRTG Core and PRTG probe services. the problem is the same. thanks

Then, Could you please forward us your system log files for analysis to [email protected]? You will find the log files within the data directory as defined under the "Core Server" tab of the "PRTG Server Administrator" tool, or in the following default paths:

XP/2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\V7\Logs (System)
Vista/2008/Windows 7: C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\V7\Logs (System)

Please be aware that it might also be a 'V8'-folder.
