We do have this on the wishlist, however I can't say when this might be implemented. I'm sorry.

Hello,
I'm afraid Probes can't be installed on Linux in the moment.
best regards.

Is there any plan or timeline to support Linux Remote Probes? This drives up the cost of a remote probe for an MSP significantly.

I would also like to chime in and say that a linux probe is very much needed! I've seen threads dating back 3+ years asking...I'd settle for one with more limited functionality at least in the short term. Ideally it would be something that could be hosted on a small form factor device, perhaps as small as a SheevaPlug.

Me three. Especially with plenty of VLANs where some might not have a Windows box in them it's urgently needed. Or where we have our old Windows 2000 stuff that we can't get rid off. Not everything can be upgraded to XP or later, believe me.

I'm just wondering if this is still on the roadmap? it is something we'd be quite keen on as we're migrating more and more people onto Linux servers if only for cost effectiveness.
Thanks

Full Remote Probes for Linux have been pushed back to be honest, as we've released the Mini Probe for Linux just a short while ago. Please try this one instead.
