Hello,

SNMP v2 traps are indeed not supported by PRTG. Where in the manual do you see contrary statements?

best regards.

Hi,

in https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg7/snmp_sensors.htm.

SNMP Sensors .... The following sensors use the Simple Network Management Protocol (supports SNMP V1, V2c and V3): ..... SNMP Trap Receiver: Opens a UDP port on a probe and waits for SNMP Traps, then processes the information.

This is the manual for PRTG 7 (now we have PRTG 8), and it's indeed not correct there, but that is fixed in the manual for PRTG 8.
