Pingdom sensor needs to inherit proxy settings?

Votes:

0

I saw the new pingdom sensor and thought I would try it. It doesn't seem to inherit the proxy settings, so it seems unusable for those of us that have to proxy. On a different subject, we still see WMI issues. Certain sensors will fail and if you restart PRTG it will work again, so it seems to be a PRTG thing. Unfortunately we are running on server 2008, which I guess doesn't help.

Dear Philip,

yes, the Pingdom sensor does not inherit the Proxy Settings. I would recommend for the WMI issues to open a support ticket.

best regards

Then is it not usable by anyone that has to proxy (which should be a good precentage of users). Any plans to allow it to proxy?
