Previous graphic objects are no longer available in 8.3

some of the objects that were available are no longer available. For example we used a rectangle with gray back ground object was available in previous releases but it removed from current release. Current release ONLY shows white objects (e.g. white rectangle , white circle)

Hello,

under version 8.4 there are also gray map objects (rectangles, circles) available, unfortunately they are all labeled "White...". Please check this. We will of course correct this.

Yes , you are right . naming was misleading me . the problem is that new map designer doesn't show a preview of the objects and we have to roll over.

The new map editor also shows a preview, you just have to hover over the object a bit.
