Can I hide bandwidth sensor "Total" channel?

Votes:

0

Is it possible to set the bandwidth sensor Total to hidden in Tables and Charts "en masse"? With 4000 sensors I just don't want to see it but I can't figure out how to set this at the probe level so it removes it from all sensors (or at least from all new auto-discovered ones). In a duplexed network, total is irrelevant to me.

Thanks

Sorry, channel settings cannot be multi-edited, so it is not possible to batch-change the Show in Charts or Show in Tables settings of sensor channels.

The only way would be editing the PRTG Configuration.dat XML file, changing the

                                      <show>
                                        1
                                      </show>

property of the respective sensor channels (ID -1). However, this is not officially supported and involves a lot of changes in your configuration file. We recommend a proper backup before manipulating this file.
