Monitor Application Running on Window/Linux Servers

I have die need of monitoring Application running on Window/Linux Server. Some time Application get hanged or stop working. Is it possible through PRTG??

Please help..

You can monitor services or processes on Windows machines using PRTG's WMI Service and WMI Process sensors.

In order to monitor processes on Linux systems, you would have to write your own script and include the returned results into PRTG using an EXE/Script Sensor. Depending on the application, you could also try to monitor it via SNMP or PHP.
