How can we monitor the CPU, Memory, and temperature of Nortel devices using SNMP? When auto-scanning Cisco devices, this information is automatically added but not our Nortel devices.

Thanks

These counters are not available in all devices. Please check with Nortel if these counters should be available.

Hi,

You can download the MIB's from Nortel's website and then use the Paessler MIB importer to create the OID library. Once these have been saved you can simply import the whole OID library or choose the MIB's you are interested in.

Once you've imported, you can then add a new SNMP library type sensor and select the OID you've just created. Make sure you save the new oid to C:\Program Files\PRTG Network Monitor\snmplibs or whereever your installation resides.
