Specific Event Log Entry = Send Alarm?

Votes:

Hello,

is it possible to create an eventlog sensor, that switches to error-state when it receives a specific entry? Example: An application produces the event log entry "Alart from program xyz.exe" - this appears in the event log sensor and if the sensor detects this string, it sends an email...

thanks

Dear Bruno,

it is possible to send an Email if an Eventlog sensor "finds" an event matching the filter-criteria (using the Change-Trigger), but I'm afraid not to change the sensor state.

best regards.
